Happy Birthday Dad/Grandpa!

Friday the 13th was my Dad's birthday. My parents went to Las Vegas to celebrate so we had our family lunch on Sunday the 15th. It's so nice to have my parents here and to be able to celebrate with them! This is funny...

Today Jerri, Emery & Camy came to visit! Emery is now walking! Again, since Jerri has quit the blog here are some new shots of Emery :)

Dylan's First Trip To The Snow!

My parents headed to Las Vegas to celebrate my Dad's birthday last Thursday & Friday. Since Nick & I were without childcare, we decided to head to South Lake Tahoe to visit Nick's Uncle Billy at his time share. The trip was awesome! I managed to forget my suitcase at home... but luckily our condo had a washer and dryer so I could wash my outfit each day. I don't think I'm completely recovered from the pregnancy brain! Nick got to ski one day and we had plenty of time to relax. I gambled for all of 2 minutes and managed to win $6.57! Dylan seemed to like the snow. He didn't mind the cold or being bundled up! The only time he wasn't too happy was when the snow was blowing in his face. I also drove for the first time in the snow with chains! It's not as scary as I thought it would be.

Happy 4 Month Birthday Dylan!

Today my little man is 4 months old! WOW! I love looking back at pictures and seeing how much he has changed. Nick and I are loving this age. Dylan is interactive and recognizes us when we walk into a room. He is full of smiles and chats all day long. He is discovering that he can control the volume of his voice and is now quite the screamer! We were told by the pediatrician that he needs more tummy time so we're working on that. Hopefully in the next few months we'll have a roller!

Dylan also has a new toy, Johnny Jump Up. He LOVES it! He puts his feet on the ground and spins around wherever he hears voices. It's adorable.

Rice Cereal!

We tried rice cereal last night for the 1st time (or more like rice milk, it's so watered down!). Dylan isn't so sure about it. He tries to suck on the spoon like it's a bottle.

Oh Bob!

So I hear Bob walk into the office but I didn't see where he went. Then I hear Dylan's bouncer next to me moving around. Before I know it, Bob has jumped into the bouncer and is burrowing under the blanket. Do you think he wants the vibrate and music turned on? I'm so glad Dylan's toys work for all of my children.

We took a nice long walk on the levy last weekend. The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed the time outside. Dylan loved being outside and even fell asleep for about 40min of the 2 hour walk.

4 Month Appointment

Today we took Dylan for his 4 month appointment. He has doubled in weight and now weighs 12lbs and 13oz. He is 24.5" long! We also got clearance to start rice cereal. Nick and I are excited for that! We'll have the video camera rolling!!!
