37 weeks down, 3 to go (hopefully)...

I can't believe this baby is due in 3 weeks! I have mixed emotions about it. I am so excited to hold him and see what he looks like, but there is still so much to do before he comes! And there is still that whole "birthing" process to deal with. Nick says he is tired of the waiting game and ready for Thor. I'm still feeling good, although starting to slow down. Sleeping is alright but getting a little more uncomfortable. I can't really complain though because the first 36 weeks were so great. :) I'm also starting to get "the line" below my belly button. So far it's pretty light. Hopefully it stays that way. And, thankfully the belly button is still an inny!!! At our appointment last week, the doctor estimated the baby's weight at 5lbs. We are both doing great!

Here are some updated belly pictures for this week. The bare belly one is for you Tara!

Here is what I can see. I have officially lost my feet...

Oh wait, there they are! I can see them when I lay down.

Bob says "hi" :)

I did some minor work in the nursery. I made the crib skirt and window valance. By "made" I mean glued some ribbon on to plain white pieces. I couldn't find anything I liked so I decided to go custom! The valance needs a new bar but the silver one works for now.

Last week Nick & I took a few days off and drove to Southern CA. My doctor said this is my last outing. :) My cousin and her family were visiting from Texas so we spent a few days with them. They have a 14 month old daughter named Rylee and she is the cutest thing EVER! She is learning to walk and toddles around like a drunk :) It is the cutest thing. I'll post some pictures when I get them. We also attending one of Nick's friend's weddings. Congratulations Nick & Robyn! It was great to visit with friends we don't get to see all that often.

Happy Birthday Kernal!

This past weekend we celebrated Nick's 28th birthday! We went to dinner with our families on Thursday night then Saturday we had a get together at our house to watch the USC vs. Ohio football game. Thankfully USC won! If they hadn't, it might have put a damper on the evening. Actually, the boys probably would've gotten over it with the keg and shots (thanks Mom for providing the Margarita Jello shots!). For Nick's actual birthday on Sunday, he did exactly what he wanted... watched football. Now if only our fantasy team had won, it would've been perfect!

Julie and I decided we haven't taken any pictures since we've both been pregnant so we took a few. She is convinced we won't have another opportunity because Thor will be here any day now. I sure hope not! I need these last few weeks! :)

I'm 36 weeks and Julie is 22 weeks!

Only 4.5 More Weeks!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's been another busy week! Last weekend we spent Saturday in the city at Stephanie & Brent's wedding! Stephanie is a wonderful friend I met through Camy & Anna. The wedding was so beautiful! She was a gorgeous bride. And to top it off, the weather was perfect!

We've started attending various childcare & birthing classes at the hospital. They are exciting and scary! So far we've taken "The Newborn" and the labor & delivery tour. Hopefully I remember some of the things I've learned when Thor gets here. The Lamaze classes start at the end of this month. I think those will totally freak me out.

I've also started my weekly doctor visits. Just another reminder that he will be here VERY SOON! Overall I'm still feeling great. Getting bigger by the second it feels like.

Just for fun!

I uploaded pictures of Nick & I and this is what Thor will supposedly look like. I'm not sure where the hair color came from...

Congratulations Cassie & Kurt

This past weekend we celebrated the wedding of Cassie & Kurt Schnell! It was a beautiful wedding and everyone had a great time! I'm getting a little tired of toasting with water or iced tea, but Thor will be here before I know it!

On Sunday we had my parents, sister & Jorge, Nick's Mom & brother's family over for a BBQ! Then Monday we enjoyed our day off and watched some college football with the Avansino's! It was an exhausting weekend but so much fun to spend time with everyone!
Only 5 1/2 weeks until Thor is due!!!!! Even better, only 4 1/2 more weeks of work this year :)
