Nick taught me a new word...

JORTS! For those of you that do not know what the means - it's short for jean shorts :) Dylan has his very own pair! They are a little long but he'll grow into them in no time I'm sure.

Nick & I are playing in a co-ed slow pitch softball league on Monday evenings. It's so much fun to be out and have some time with our friends. We are lucky that my parents come to the games to baby sit. Our team all wears camo uniforms (Julie's isn't in yet) so I felt the babies needed some too!

Every once in a while I get a Martha Stewart bug up my butt and this weekend was one of those times. The newborn towels aren't really fitting D anymore so I decided that hooded towels would be easy to make & I tried. It actually wasn't that hard and I plan to make a few more.

Friday evening we went to the Asparagus Festival with the Coldani's. Boy have times changed. We decided to go on Friday night because it would be less crowded than Saturday :) We are officially OLD. It was really windy but we were still able to enjoy a few beers and some fried asparagus.

We got Dylan a walker this weekend and he LOVES it! At first he could only go backwards but within a day he got the hang of it and is cruising around the house!
I don't know why this is sideways and I can't fix it...

Today Nick and bought bikes and a trailer. We took a short rider around the neighborhood to test out our new toys. Dylan loved the trailer! He was smiling and looking around the whole ride.

My new toy!
We also went to Farmer's Market this morning. It wore Dylan out :)

AWESOME Weekend!!!

What a FABULOUS weekend! It was filled with family, friends & fun! Friday night was the wine stroll in Lodi. The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful time. Dylan rode around in the Bob for the first half of the evening then fell asleep in the Moby for the second half. We had a wonderful time visiting with friends and tasting some yummy wine.

Saturday morning we woke up and drove to Bodega Bay to meet the Busalacchi's. We took full advantage of the weather and spent the afternoon at the beach. Nico was great and napped all afternoon! Dylan enjoyed playing in the sand and the breeze blowing through his hair. On the way back to the Busalacchi's, we stopped by the Bordessa's for a quick visit. It was great to finally see their house & bonus: Sara & Jeff were there too!

Sunday morning we enjoyed breakfast then headed to Sonoma for lunch with Amy. She made us a fabulous lunch and is a wonderful hostess!

Big Guy Bath!

Since Dylan is doing so well sitting up on his own, we decided to try out the big guy bath tub tonight instead of the newborn tub. He loved it! He had a few toys and loved sitting up and splashing in the water! He also sat in the big part of the shopping cart at Bed, Bath & Beyond for the first time today!!! He loved looking around and trying to grab EVERYTHING off the shelves.

Daddy's glasses are yummy!

We offically have TEETH!

Yes, that is plural! Dylan's 2nd tooth has finally poked through!! It's been 3 weeks since the first one made it's appearance so we have been anxiously waiting. This tooth has not been as easy on him as the 1st one was. Poor little guy has been in some pain :(

Happy Easter & 6 Months!!!!

This past Thursday was Dylan's 1/2 birthday! Unfortunately I wasn't around to celebrate (I was in Sonoma for a work meeting) but Nick took these wonderful pictures!!! Dylan is sitting up on his own now! He can only do it for a minute or two at a time but he is SO HAPPY! We have opened some toys that I received from showers that he can now play with. We are all enjoying this new skill of Dylan's.

We celebrated Easter with a wonderful brunch this morning. We both families over and even had an Easter egg hunt for our nephew Dominic!
