Labor Day, Quick Trip to LA, Nick's Birthday Party & New Kicks!!

Wow, it's been awhile again. It's hard to find the time to update with Dylan being so mobile! Life is still crazy busy and we are enjoying every second of it! Dylan is FULLY walking now. He prefers it to crawling and just cruises around everywhere.

For Labor Day weekend we headed down to Fresno to meet up with the Busalacchi's and visit the Roach's. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. It was so fun to see the Nico & Dylan "play".

Last Wednesday night Dylan, my Mom & I drove down to LA to visit my family. My cousin Krissy and her family were in from Texas so it was really nice to catch up and visit. They have a 2 year old, Rylee, so it was fun to see the kids interact. Rylee wasn't too sure at first but by the end of the trip she said "I love Baby Dylan".

Tomorrow (Monday 9/14) is Nick's 29th birthday! We celebrated this weekend by having some friends over to watch the USC vs. Ohio football game. It was so fun. Last year we had a ton of preggo ladies and this year a ton of babies :)

Now that Dylan is a walker, it's time for real shoes. Nick's parents wanted to by his first pair so we went to Stride Rite this afternoon. He got 2 awesome pairs of shoes! We took him to the park afterwards to try them out.

It's true, Dylan has taken his first steps! He is so funny. He wobbles all over the place then falls on his rear :) I have a feeling he will be running around before we know it. He is getting more and more confident. This video is from his first day or two of walking.

Two Saturdays ago we went to visit my sister & Jorge in Napa! We had a wonderful picnic and some yummy gelato! I took some really cute pictures but can't seem to find them... I will and will post them later!

Last weekend we had my 10 year high school reunion! YIKES! I can't believe I'm really that old. Again, Shadi took some photos and I will post them as soon as I get them from her :) Dylan had his first flight to LA and did great! Nick's parents were wonderful enough to come up from San Diego to watch Dylan during the reunion. We spent a wonderful 2 days with them.
