My easy going baby now has likes and dislikes and is not as easy going as he once was. He does not like it when you take things away from him (IE. the remote, the phone, my 2nd blackberry since he slobbered all over the 1st one and ruined the screen). Dylan will pull himself along anything he can and walk around it. He loves to go in circles around our ottoman. One really cute thing he has learned (well, they're all cute ;)) is when he is tired or wants to cuddle, he will crawl over to you and pull up on your leg. It's adorable. With all of these new skills comes a learning curve. My poor baby has taken a few spills. He can get up. but not down. We're working on that.
Dylan had his 9 month appointment today and boy has he come a long way. He now weighs 18lbs 13oz and is 28" long! The 50th percentile for both. The doctor is very pleased with his weight gain and gave him an A+. Dr. B also warned us that he will probably be walking before he turns a year. Yikes!!! We also got the green light to phase out baby food and start on table food. I'm a little nervous about this but I'm sure Dylan will be happy to have some real food. He's also getting all 4 of his top teeth at once. Poor guy! Hopefully they come through quickly.
Here are a few recent photos. I need to take some more. We have just been so busy and he requires so much more supervision, it's hard. So here are these for now and more to come soon.
We celebrated my Mom's birthday
Dylan likes Ace's toys more than his own! (I know, this is GROSS and we have since stopped this habit)
We went swimming at Auntie Camy & Uncle Brett's new house!!! Dylan brought his new Jeep and had a great time.
He pulls himself up!
And crawls!
Our friend Kristen took some fabulous family photos for us at Lodi Lake. Julie and Giada provided the entertainment and helped Dylan smile. They also made Nick and I almost wet our pants laughing!
Father's Day 2009!!!! We spent the morning with my Dad then celebrated at home with Nick that evening. For Father's Day I took some photo's of Dylan with some letters then framed them. It came out adorable and I think Nick really liked it!

Great post and new design!!
cUTE NEW POSTS niCOLE! And yes, that picture is pretty gross with the octopus :). Can you do me a favor, whenever you have time can you send me pictures that you have of Dylan, and me and/or Jorge? I don't have any of them from you or Dad, and I really would like to have those pics of my nephew and I (if you have any). Thanks, love you bunches, hope to see you soon.
It isn't like I give Dylan the dog's toys. He has tons of his own toys...he just likes Ace's toys more! I take them away, he crawls after them...or Ace brings them back to his little buddy! We spend a good part of the day convincing D that his toys are way more fun than that octopus.
I LOVE the new blog background and your family picture! beautiful!!
